घरे 

#मी पाहतोय घरे 

ऊन ,वारा ,पाऊस झेलणारी 

सूर्याच्या रखरखत्या उन्हाला 

आवाहन देणारी ,विजांचा थयथयाट ,

झोपडीत शिरलेल्या पाण्याला 

थोपवून धरणारी ,विंचू ,साप ,यांना अंगा खांद्यावर खेळवणारी....!

ओल्या लाकडांचा प्रचंड धूर पचवणारी ,

कधी उपाशी तर कधी अर्धपोटी झोपलेल्या...

चिल्यापिल्यांना आपल्या कुशीत जोजवणारी.....तरीही प्रसन्न ,आनंदी ,माणसं सुखांत ठेवणारी !

कुठून येत असेल हे बळ या घरांना ?

      #मी पाहतोय घरे ,

आलीशान बंगल्याची ,ओतप्रोत भरलेल्या सुविधांची ,शोभिवंत बागा मिरवणारी ,आपल्या प्रिय डॉगीला 

सुगंधी साबणाने न्हाऊ घालणारी ,

पंचपक्वान्ने खाऊ घालणारी ,वातानुकूलित ,झगमकाट ,महागड्या गाड्यांचा ताफा असलेली ,नोकरचाकरांना शिव्या हासडणारी ,

इनकम टॅक्सची धाड ,चोरांची भिती ,

निद्रानाश आजार...अन् बरेच काही ,

घेऊन जगणारी....वरून शांत पण आतून पोखरली....!

I see houses

Sustaining heat, wind and rain

Challenging the scorching sun and striking lightning

Obstructing the flood in hut 

Existing playfully with venomous scorpion and snake!

Digesting smoke of wet fire wood

Pampering in her lap, the kids slept half fed or unfed.......

Still delighted, happy and healthy

Where do these houses get such towering power ?

I see houses,

Blooming banglows, facilities filled to edges,

With decorative gardens, bathing dogy with fragrant soap.

Eating and feeding continental food 

Houses attractive with lightening, expensive motor rallies,

Throwing abuses over maid , butlar and chauffeur

Often in fear of burglar,raids of IT

Sleeplessness ever ..... Snatching much and many 

Calm outside, bomb'd inside...…!
