आईहून मोठे कोण

आई परीस परीस 

करी जीवनाचं सोनं

आई मायाळू मायाळू

लावी सागराची माया

लेकराच्या सुखापरी

सारी झिजवते काया

आई शिकवी शिकवी

चालणे बोलणे आम्हास

आई भरवी भरवी

तिच्या घासातला घास

आई महान महान

तिचे अपार हे ऋण

असे गहाण गहाण

तिच्या चरणी हे जिणं

आई दैवत दैवत

सा-या दैवताहून मोठे

आईच्या रे थोरवीला

पडे आभाळही थिटे

She is the touchstone

Making life a gold cone

Mother is lovely & loving.

 Her ocean deep caring

Wear down her body

For the joy of anybody

Mother is teacher & preacher

Mentoring us to walk,to talk

Mother feeds us, feeds us

Even from her share

Mother is great & greater

We all  are in debt to her.

This life gaged & mortgaged 

At her feet.

Mother is God & heaven.

Bigger than any shrine.

For her greatness

Sky seems lessen .
