Dr. Abhay Bang : Be Service Oriented

Dr. Abhay Bang delivered speech in a programme Arambh organised by Gadchandurcha Raja Public Trust at Mahatma Gandhi Vidhyalaya and Jr. College Gadchandur.
There was a time when middle class youth would get education through 'madhukari' ( kind of begging for food). Now there is a complete change. Education has free and compulsory. Still that education has some lapses. Jobs are dream of educated. Youth is the power of India. Some decades ago American mother would feed their children by showing the fear of Indian hungry children. She would say, "Finish the food or hungry Indian child will come and eat your food." Now the American parents tell their children get education or Indians will come and take away your jobs. Today 2.5 crore youth are in queue for jobs. They are searching for carrier. They are in search of success key.
What is Competition?

Today's competition is a cut throat competition. Giving friends in the claw of tiger. Success is measured by the other's success. In scholastic exam if a child gets 90% parents are not satisfied unless they know he is the highest in the class. Ironically they are satisfied at 85% if it is the highest.
At the very young age companions are needed. The boy needs girl's company. The girl needs boy's company. Here they distract from their goal. They need communication. They spend their most of the time in chatting with friends. Another reason for deviation from the goal. So the youth remain aimless. On the other hand 80% youth is jobless. Those who get the jobs are lack of required skills for the jobs.
Almost 5 lakhs students are preparing for MPSC with no aim, no technique of study. The Posts are 300 for a year. Similar case is with UPSC with no dreams. There is a dire situation in job finding . PhD holder hopes to get petty jobs. To live a life there should be purticular hope, purpose. To live for what. Change the way you live. Purpose of life should be defined . Destination of life should be decided . At the age of 13 and 16 Bang brothers decided to improve agriculture and health of villages in India. Dr. Abhay Bang was destined to be a doctor. A dream for a life is enough.
He cited Akbar - Birbal story of finding foolish. Birbal found the man searching for his ring not where it was lost but where it was moonlight. Educated search the ring where there is facilities not where there is problems. He advised youth to go where the problems are. Find the satisfaction. Lots of problems are there in villages. Face the problems. Find out ways of life. Opportunities are there where problems exist. Facing the challenges unsuccessful lawyers Mohandas Karam hand Gandhi became Mahatma. Life and youth has no reverse back. Serve to the patient where there are.
Be service oriented instead of career oriented.

Inspiring Speech of Shekhar Deshmukh DYSP

Hon. Shekhar Deshmukh DYSP RAJURA addressed the students at NSS camp organised by Mahatma Gandhi Jr college Gadchandur at Lakhmapur. His speech was so inspiring and motivating that I noted down some bits of his speech. Here I would like share......

Leader is the one who knows the way, shows the way and goes the way. Develop the personality at the early stage. Inculcate the habit of good manners. Students should participate in debate, elocution and essay contest. Soft skills development is necessary. It can be achieved with dedication. Don't dig the well when you are thirsty. Be ready for the future necessity. Marks are not important. Develop leadership. Read. Think. Opine. Read Krishnakath by Yashwatrao Chavahan. Students should develop positive attitude. Likewise Nepolean Bonapart they should create trust in themselves. Nepolean Bonapart formed his army picking up commen men. Seeing such average people ready with arms British army men boast of their rich heritage of army descending from their grandparents. To encourage his army Nepolean addressed, "They got the heritage. You have to create the heritage." Dedication in competive exams is key to success. Devote your time for study in such a way that you will not see the sun for some days. Make a habit of getting up before the sun rise, start studying up to the sun set. Be your own guide if you don't find the right path . Don't seek for guidance always. Because you may be the first one to walk on that path. Experience is the most expensive teacher. So learn from the mistakes made by others. We learn from the success stories as well as from the stories of failures. Don't underestimate yourself. Success doesn't know the difference between urban and rural, male and female, poor and rich, educated and uneducated family background.

Should E-learning Replace Teachers?

E- Learning Technology Substitute For Teachers.

1. No wait for a teacher to get back to you to clear your doubts.
2. E- learning is not time bound and place bound.
3. We need not wait to begin learning until the start of the semester.
4. A person sitting in a remote place can learn anything the world offers.
5. Students belonging to different countries can learn the courses offered from a country they cannot afford to go to.

E-learning is the means not the end.
Teacher's place is like a pole star.

E-learning is made easy because they are a set of learned educators and teachers. They work together to put in the information required and organize things such that the person on the other end gets a hassle-free lesson .
You may think that you will be able to completely rely on technology to get the answers for all your questions. But the truth is that you will still require a teacher to take you through the right path. At times, technology may not give the right answer. Instead you will be led into a loop. Everything you get as an answer is not relevant. In such cases one requires a teacher who has done intensive study and research on the subject.
Also, a system may crash any time. You cannot 100 percent rely on something that is virtual. E-learning is a 'virtual' learning process. Just imagine, actually you are interacting with 'nobody ' but only a programmed machine. It is incomplete if there is no teacher to update the data or guide you or answer your queries . Nothing can take over human intelligence. The teachers share knowledge without hesitating. No technology or man-made robot can ever replace the "old reliable teacher". Teacher is just a call away, to answer you, guide you and to help you out and most importantly, be your motivator.

Apostrophe : Punctuation Mark

.

The apostrophe (')is a punctuation mark . It is used for two purposes.

1.To show that one or more letters have been missed out
When we are speaking we frequently skip certain sounds, running parts of a word together. For example did not becomes didn’t. When these words are written down, an apostrophe is used to show that letters have been missed out.

I will- I’ll
I shall- I’ll
I am- I’m
will not- won't
shall not- shan't
I would- I’d
I had- I’d
What is- what’s
What was- what’s
I have- I’ve
she is- she's
What is - what’s
they are- they're

who is - who’s

He is - he’s

As the examples show, the way in which some of these shortened forms are written down is rather selective. It works well when 'is' and 'are' are shortened, but in the case of 'won't' and 'shan't', the apostrophe does not show where all the letters have been omitted; otherwise we would write sha'n't, and no rule can cover the change from will not to won 't.

2.To show possession
We also use the apostrophe to show that something belongs to someone. For example: Lord Rochester's monkey the girl's handbag the Browns' SilverWedding anniversary several churches' position on gay priests
As these examples show, the rule is that if the name or noun is in the singular, we add an apostrophe followed by the letter 's'. If the name or noun is a plural ending in 's' then we simply add an apostrophe. (Plurals that do not end in 's' follow the rule for singular nouns: a children's playground.)
Exception
There is one exception to the rule. When its means 'of it' there is no apostrophe. This commonly causes problems. The rule is:
it's = it is and its-of it

Banks :a plural form of bank but
bank’s (employees,): 1. Of bank Possessive case
2. Bank is

In letters apostrophe is often missused in 'Yours faithfully as your's which is wrong. Simply 'yours' is correct.

What is your mother's name?
What is your sister's name? But
What are your sisters' names?
